Floyd Henderon
Commander - Army
Floyd Henderson is the Commander of VFW Post 2070 Arcadia-Monrovia. As Commander, Floyd leads the organization by presiding at all meetings in accordance with the Post Bylaws and Manual of Procedure. The Commander enforces the rules, appoints officers, committee members and approves all disbursements of funds authorized by the post, among other duties.
Floyd previously served as Post Commander for five years, between the 2017-18 and 2021-22 program years. He served as District Junior Vice Commander during the 2022-23 program year and trustee during the 2023-24 program year.
Floyd gained entry into the Veterans of Foreign Wars through his combat service during the Vietnam War. He is a VFW Life Member and a member of the Military Order of the Cootie.
