The Veterans of Foreign Wars has pledged to never forget the service and sacrifice of America's POWs and MIAs and their families. More than 80,000 remain missing or unaccounted for, according to the national VFW website. When multiplying his number with the number of spouses, parents, brothers and sisters, along with sons and daughters, there is a huge population of fellow Americans who continue to grieve in silence. The VFW stands beside the families who continue to burn a candle of hope.
